I am the Senior Lecturer in Secondary Science at the University of Hertfordshire and prior to this worked in secondary schools for 20 years. My interests lie in Cognitive Science which is a broad church but is offering some great insights into how we learn. Having a model of the mind and thinking about instructional design has huge potential in improving inclusivity in the classroom as does supporting science teachers develop their subject knowledge.
I am a contributor to the #CogSciSci grassroot movement and completing a Masters in Education at the University of Hertfordshire.
