As well as being chair of the ASE primary committee, I'm also Senior Vice Principal of Harris Garrard Academy, London.
As a science leader, I have written several articles for 'Primary Science' and the Primary Science Subject Leader's Survival Guide, completed an MA in Science Education, achieved PSQM Silver and have been awarded Chartered Science Teacher status. Most recently, I have led science through an Ofsted 'deep dive' (November 2021).
I am passionate about social justice, equity, diversity and inclusion and work to support schools to become more diverse through the use of queer pedagogy to challenge heteronormative cultures. I host the 'QueerEd' podcast and have written various articles on the importance of LGBT+ inclusion.
