John will be in conversation with Professor Dame Carol Robinson about science and science teaching. Carol Robinson left school at age 16 to start a career as a technician. From that start she went on to become the first-ever female professor of chemistry at Cambridge, then Oxford, doing internationally acclaimed research in mass spectrometry and protein structure. John will be talking to Carol about her extraordinary scientific career, about how she first became engaged with science and her views on the needs of science education now and in the future. John be inviting the online audience to participate with their own questions.
