Jessie Durk
King's College London
Research Associate
I work at both King's College London (secondary science education) and the University of Cambridge (physics education), and do voluntary tutoring with the Access Project. I will soon be starting a research position in undergraduate physics education at Imperial College London, alongside my role at King's. I have a PhD in theoretical physics. I have previously taught at the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, at undergraduate physics level during my PhD, and at a secondary school in the West Midlands as part of an Ogden Trust teaching internship, alongside numerous outreach/public engagement talks. My interests include practical science, inquiry, physics education, misconceptions, widening participation, and diversity and inclusion in STEM.
