I'm a senior lecturer in Educational Leadership at the University of Chester. My main teaching covers Professional Learning and Change Leadership but I also tutor across the MA Educational Leadership programme. My principal research interest is in teacher retention and by focusing on issues around physics teacher retention I also hope to shed light on broader aspects of teacher retention.

In previous roles I taught science/physics/maths for many years and eventually led schools after which I worked as a manager and coach at the IOP. I do still love talking about physics!
