I am an 11-18 Biology Teacher at Campbell College, an all boys school in Belfast. I am really interested in active engagement strategies, practical activities and information retrieval strategies to motivate boys and raise attainment. As ASE Field Officer in Northern Ireland, I facilitate the organisation of large Primary and Post Primary Teachmeets, science cluster groups for primary and post primary leaders, and our latest initiative is support groups for Biology and Chemistry teachers. I would love to hear ideas and good practice that I can share across our region.
